Week 1 of the TWW is complete. I felt cramping / just felt my uterus for the first 4 days. Then I had some cramping yesterday and a little today. Also found out today that I am producing enough progesterone! Tomorrow I get to find out the results from my abdominal ultrasound. It was mostly for my liver. I think that my enzymes are being raised by my metformin... so this will be interesting.
Anyway Yay for being home from work and for baked rotini. Yum!
Over two and a half years ago, we were looking forward to the next bend in road of life. We were hoping to find an addition two our, instead we found InFertility. Welcome to our InFertility journey and other random thoughts.

Excited!!! but nervous....
Tomorrow Matt and I go in for our first IUI!! We are excited, but also nervous. I have some other health issues going on, but neither my primary care Dr. nor my reproductive endocinologist seem concerned.
I found out a few months ago that I am lactose intolerant. My primary care Dr.'s office today calle today to inform me that I am also allergic to egg whites and sesame seeds. Wonderful! I guess I can't get the flu shot now... Too bad I am in a high risk category with my asthma...
I also have PCOS. Which comes with a higher risk of miscarriage. Of course so does my class C asthma medication.
Don't get me wrong, I am very excited to have the IUI tomorrow, it just makes me nervous too. I feel like I have more hope this month than I have had in a long time. Come on baby!! Choose us!

New to me!
I have been reading several blogs for a while, and thought that it was time to start my own. I am hoping to become pregnant soon and this seems like a great way to document the rest of our journey towards this goal.
My husband and I have been TTC since June 2008. We did about 6 months of 'not not-trying' before that! Little did we know what a waste that would be...
